More Dimensions Addon

Updated: Aug 7, 2021

In Minecraft, there are 3 dimensions, the overworld, the Nether, and the End. Many players have been asking for another dimension to be added into the sandbox, with little to no success. There are a ton of mods that adds one or more dimensions. The most popular of which is the Aether Mod, which is made by kingbdogz, who is now working with Mojang. But that mod is on Java Edition, in Bedrock Edition, there is also a mod/add-on that can give you not one, not two, but FOUR new dimensions. It is the More Dimensions Addon. Every dimension features an insanely powerful Boss.

LIST OF DIMENSIONS:

  • CAVE

  • SKYLAND

  • TEMPLE

  • RUINS

CAVE DIMENSION:

The Cave dimension can be activated by placing 10/14 cobblestone in a nether portal shape, then drop the custom lava bucket (which can be crafted by placing 5 lava buckets in a plus pattern) into the right corner of the portal.

The Cave Dimension is located inside a Bedrock wall. It has a Cobblestone floor, it also has bridges and dripstone like structures, there is also a River, flowing water from atop, and some lava pockets. There are also some ores scattered around the map. And the terrifying part is, THERE ARE WITHER SKELETON SPAWNERS SCATTERED AROUND THE MAP. And that’s not the worst part, The Boss. It’s an ancient cave spider. It’s huge, it has 700 health, and deals a ton of damage when unprepared. It can also strike you with lightning and Poison. After you kill the boss, you will get a Cavern Staff, which gives off a cobweb particle and an explosion.

SKYLAND DIMENSION:

The Skyland dimension can be activated by placing 10/14 block of quartz in a nether portal shape, then drop the custom torch (which can be crafted by placing 5 torches in a plus pattern) into the right corner of the portal.

The Skyland dimension is reminiscent of the Aether Mod. It is an archipelago on the Sky. There are 2 main structures in the Dimension. The small one is the Home of the Aerial Crusaith and is also home to a chest that contains good loot. The large one is the Home of the Pigman Gladiator, although it is not the real boss, the real boss is the Sky Dragon. It deals 40 DAMAGE! Now that’s a lot. Phil Swift would approve. After you beat the Boss, you will get a Skyland Staff. The staff when used summons lightning strikes. It is insanely overpowered.

TEMPLE DIMENSION:

The Temple Dimension can be activated by placing 10/14 sandstone in a nether portal shape, then drop the custom flint (which can be crafted by placing 5 flint in a plus pattern) into the right corner of the portal.

This is the most unforgiving dimension. The Temple Dimension features a pyramid in the middle and protected by 4 pillars in its corners. The top part of the pillars has a Stray Spawner, And the bottom part has a Zombie spawner. The inside of the pyramid features 8 skeleton spawners and the mini-boss, the Furic Mummy, it is also overpowered. But after you fight the Mummy, you will fight the true boss. The Temple’s Death Worn (yes, Worn). The most overpowered mob I’ve seen, it gives off extreme poison which can drain you in a matter of seconds, and also has a beefy 600 HP. After you beat the Worn, you will get a temple staff, it gives you regeneration and invisibility while destroying nearby mobs with its explosion. If you are up for a challenge, you want to fight in this dimension.

RUINS DIMENSION:

The Ruins Dimension can be activated by placing 10/14 stone bricks in a nether portal shape, then drop the custom lapis lazuli (which can be crafted by placing 5 lapis lazuli in a plus pattern) into the right corner of the portal.

A pretty small Dimension, but with a big fight. The Ruins Dimension is of course, full of ruins, it doesn’t have any secondary amenities, just stone brick ruins. It hosts the Stone Brick Golems and the boss, The Skeletal Dragon. He does 25-30 damage but will spew out lightning and summon large exploding bones. After you have beaten the boss, you will obtain the Ruins Staff, which spews out the Ender Dragon breath. The boss really fits the theme of this Dimension, actually all Bosses fit the theme of their Dimension.
